Posted: 5 April 2012 Right now, the US Congress is sneaking in a new law that gives them big brother spy powers over the entire web — and they’re hoping the world won’t notice. We helped stop their Net attack last time, let’s do it again.
Over 100 Members of Congress are backing a bill (CISPA) that would give private companies and the US government the right to spy on any of us at any time for as long as they want without a warrant. This is the third time the US Congress has tried to attack our Internet freedom. But we helped beat SOPA, and PIPA — and now we can beat this new Big Brother law.
Our global outcry has played a leading role in protecting the Internet from governments eager to monitor and control what we do online. Let’s stand together once again — and beat this law for good. Sign the petition then forward to everyone who uses the Internet!
Currently, all green backs have the words In God We Trust printed on them. This ubiquitous statement has come to be known as our national motto, circa 1956, when it replaced E Pluribus Unum(Translates to ‘Out of many, one’). This change was made during the cold war, when fear and propaganda were at the height of dissemination, and serves only to divide us as a nation.
A great many citizens of the United States follow non-theistic or poly-theistic faiths, or are simply atheist, and believe the national governments recognition of a deity to be in violation of the first amendment. As such, we ask that the national motto be restored to E Pluribus Unum and replaced on all green backs.
PLEASE REBLOG - We need as many signatures as we can get! Thank you!
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER RELEASED ANY OF MY RECORDED MUSIC!!
I know, I’ve been a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my recorded music. As an artist, we want things to be perfect, but its impossible for any human being to be perfect. We have to accept who we are and live with it.
This is a live recording from the FIRST TIME I have ever played piano indoors in front of an audience.
